Me-Line Treatment

Meline treatments are specially developed to effectively tackle unwanted pigmentation. There are four variants, including treatments for pigmentation in the face and around the eyes. The facial treatments consist of Mask treatments (specifically for fair or tinted skin types) and ID treatments using microneedling. For optimal results, a course of treatments is recommended, starting with a Mask treatment followed by ID treatments. The accompanying Meline products for home use support and enhance the effect of the treatments.

Who is this treatment suitable for?

This treatment is suitable for anyone with hyperpigmentation, regardless of your skin type. Whether you have a fair or tinted skin, there is always a suitable approach. However, Meline treatments are not recommended in case of a disturbed skin barrier, active infections, eczema, herpes or during pregnancy. They are only performed in the autumn and winter months to avoid exposure to sunlight.

The result of a Me-Line treatment

After the treatment, your skin will be more even and pigment spots will be visibly reduced. Dark circles, freckles and pigment spots will be tackled at the core, which will ensure a fresh, youthful appearance. In addition to the reduction of pigment, the firmness and general condition of the skin will also improve, with the added benefit of reducing wrinkles.

What can I do at home?

The treatment has a downtime of approximately one week. Your skin may start to peel slightly after a few days, which is normal and part of the recovery process. Follow the product advice of your specialist carefully and use a day cream with SPF every day. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight during the treatment. With this care you contribute to a long-lasting and visible result.

FAQs

Below you will find the most frequently asked questions about Me-Line:

Is the use of Me-Line products mandatory in addition to the treatments?

The use of Me-Line products in addition to the treatments is not mandatory, but is strongly recommended. These products contribute to better results, as the day and night serum contain pigment-degrading ingredients. In addition, the use of a day cream with sun factor is essential to protect the vulnerable skin from the sun.

How many Me-Line treatments do I need?

For best results we recommend 3 to 6 treatments, with an interval of 4 to 5 weeks. These treatments consist of Me-Line mask treatments and ID treatments, in combination with the corresponding products.

Why are Me-Line products not for sale in the webshop?

Me-Line wants to keep the brand exclusively available for beauty salons. Furthermore, the products contain powerful active ingredients, which makes it irresponsible to sell them without appropriate advice.

I am a sun worshipper. Does it still make sense to work on my unwanted pigment spots?

No, we do not recommend treatments for hyperpigmentation if it is difficult to stay out of the sun. When you spend time, money and energy removing unwanted pigment, it is important to realize that you can no longer safely sunbathe. The skin has already been exposed to enough sun in the areas where pigment spots develop. Removing these spots can lead to the formation of new, often darker pigment, which can further damage the skin.

Does Me-Line also work against pregnancy mask (melasma)?

No, melasma is too deep in the skin, which means that Me-Line treatments and products do not penetrate deeply enough. However, more superficial pigment, such as sun damage or pigmentation due to PIH, can be treated effectively with Me-Line.
